Mongoose is a beautiful purple rocket that is perfect for anyone looking for their first 2-stage rocket. The rocket can be built very quickly and is very sturdy. The first engine helps the rocket launch from the pad and the second engine takes the rocket way up. Two-stage model rockets help students understand the principles of space flight.
Build
Mongoose is a very easy rocket to build. The plastic fins are pre-aligned to help new builders. The body is pre-painted, so the rocket can be ready with the least amount of effort. It is practically ready right out of the box.
Launch
I used the B6-0 and A8-5 engines to launch the Mongoose. Use the right amount of wadding paper so the parachute does not sustain damage during the launch. Mongoose can also be launched as a single-stage rocket.
Recommended engines: Two Stage: Booster B6-0, C6-0. Upper Stage: A8-5, B6-6, C6-7.
Recovery
Plastic fins and a cardboard body make this rocket lightweight. The 12-inch parachute included in the box works very well.
Be careful – the plastic fins can break easily. Once it cracks or breaks it is difficult to repair, making the rocket quite useless.
